Blakemere Veterinary Centre started life as a large animal practice and although the small animal and equine sectors have grown dramatically in recent years we maintain a strong interest in the livestock sector, servicing numerous dairy herds, pedigree beef and sheep units, as well as many small holdings.
Services we provide include:
- Emergency treatment
- Herd/flock health planning
- Fertility visits (ultrasound/manual)
- Disease investigation and treatment
- APHA work (TB Testing, export etc.) we are currently contracted to Menter-a-Busnes (North Wales) and XL Farmcare North to carry out TB testing.
- Advice on vaccinations, feeding and worming programmes.
